MEDITATION: CULTIVATE EQUANAMITY
Studies have shown that meditation and relaxation techniques improve quality of life for cancer patients, and everyone. Because of our own experiences with it in overcoming the challenge of breast cancer and fear, in addition to our Rhythm Thrive! program we introduce Vipassana meditation charity retreat to survivors.
There are no charges for the courses - not even to cover the cost of
food and accommodation. All expenses are met by donations from old students
who, having completed a course and experienced the benefits of this
meditation, wish to give others the same opportunity. This powerful ancient meditation technique cultivates awareness of the body, the mind, and the external environment.

Vipassana can help
to optimize the capacity of the body and mind to heal after a survivor
undergoes their treatments of choice. Scientific
studies have illustrated enhanced overall well being (both physical
and mental) in meditators. At the very minimum, this course offers 10
days of silent time and tools to use, so that life, or even death, can be approached with a clear renewed spirit and a balanced mind.
*this course can be very greuling, and should be undertaken only after careful consideration and participation in a 13 week program at our centers and physical evaluation by a doctor.
